Experienced Security Supervisor
Johannesburg Security Services (JSS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our dynamic team. We are a leading security services provider committed to delivering top-tier security solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage security personnel, ensuring adherence to company protocols and client requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies effectively.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs.
- Ensure the proper training and deployment of security staff.
- Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule and manage security personnel shifts.
- Enforce security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid PSIRA registration (Grade B or higher preferred).
- Proven experience as a Security Supervisor in the security industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of security procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Valid South African driver’s license.
- Clear criminal record.
- Strong understanding of security technology, and access control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant security certifications or diplomas.
- First aid and fire safety training.
Personal Attributes:
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

VIP Protector (2 Positions)
Johannesburg Security Services (JSS), a leading provider of comprehensive security solutions, is seeking two highly skilled and dedicated VIP Protectors to join our specialized team. You will be responsible for providing close protection and ensuring the safety and security of our VIP clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide close protection to VIP clients, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop security plans.
- Maintain situational awareness and anticipate potential threats.
- Coordinate with security teams and law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Provide secure transportation and escort services.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of security activities.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VIP Protector or close protection officer.
- Valid PSIRA registration (Grade B or higher preferred).
- Advanced driving skills and valid South African driver’s license.
- Excellent physical fitness and self-defense skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of VIP protection protocols and procedures.
- Clear criminal record.
- Firearm competency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant security certifications or training in close protection.
- Advanced first aid and medical training.
- Experience with specialized communication and tracking systems.
- Experience with defensive driving.
Personal Attributes:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a highly specialized team.
